So lazy day it was......We were on a relaxing vacation, after all! We slept in a bit, but there comes a time in the morning that the kids and I have to eat or get sick. So we started out lounging.....then feeling the knife through the stomach, hurridly dressed and reported to the breakfast lounge!
We had the same offerings as the previous morning. Everyone found something they loved....Harrison-doughnuts, Natalie-pancakes, Janelle-eggs, and not so big on breakfast, Mike-coffee.
Today my clever husband thought we should use a little reverse psychology. We were in no hurry to see the sights this morning as we really only had the Riverwalk to do on our list. So we decided to try the pool first to see if it would be less crowded. Then we could explore the city further later.
Score! Check out these pool shots. We had the pool and hot tubs entirely to ourselves all morning. It was definitely warm enough outside to swim, but not the fry your skin hot that later afternoon would bring. We felt we were the only guests at the hotel!
We were this close to San Fernando Church. We were practically sleeping in the Alamo!
