Day 32 ~ Day of Rest
Obviously, after being out until 3:30 AM, we had to catch up
on sleep. So that is mostly what we
did. I got up after 7 hours of sleep and
tried to work on the blog, but the internet was bad, so I basically wasted all
day trying to upload pictures. I only
completed one day of the 5 days I was behind.
The kids and Mike stayed in bed reading.
It got very hot in the camper and stuffy and messy and
blah. But it was too hot to get things
organized. We finally broke out of our
funk and went swimming. That really
helped to lift everyone’s spirits. We
came back to the camper, and I made Santa Fe Soup, which is a pretty tricky
recipe if you don’t know how to open cans.
Pool
This campground is strange because it appears that people
actually live here. I suppose if you
live in California, where it is warm, you could do that. If you wanted to save up money and get ahead
so you had a savings account and could buy a house, it might even be a smart
move. Restrooms, pool, and laundry
provided. No utilities. Plus, this was a very nice place and very
clean.
Nice Air Conditioner! I wish we had one! (Not Really!)
Permanent Residence
Tomorrow: Hoover Dam
and Las Vegas
